Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

What do I do?

I offer one-to-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in a confidential, non judgemental setting.  I can help you to better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and actions; together we can begin to bring about change and break negative thinking and behaviour patterns.

About Me

I’m Kirsty, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Groupwork Counsellor based in East Dunbartonshire.  I have experience volunteering with Samaritans as well as working in Homelessness, Addictions and Employee Wellbeing.  I believe CBT to be an effective type of counselling as it is short term, goal oriented and teaches you to become your own therapist by applying learning from therapy to other aspects of your life; I think everyone could benefit from CBT to improve their mental wellbeing.

Though not an exhaustive list, I can help with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, OCD, social anxiety, addiction, stress, anger, emotion regulation and phobias.
